BACKGROUND / POINTS SCORE SYSTEM

The TriNSW 2010 Duathlon Championships is a Pointscore Series, with State Winners judged over the five event results, rather than a single Championship. All five results will counts in the point-score to determine the 2010 TNSW Duathlon Champions. This is a ‘closed’ championships series to those who are TNSW members only. This means the top points scorers following the five rounds (restricted to TNSW members) will be declared the State Duathlon Champions. All individual events ARE however open to all competitors (note non member entry fees will cover one-day licenses) but only TNSW members may compete for the title of State Duathlon Champions.

Individual entry to each race is through the nominated website for that event. All event information is outlined in the respective race websites. Entry conditions, final rules and regulations, age groups to be recognised in each event are also to be found at individual race sites.

Points score allocation will be 17 First, 12 Second, 9 Third and consecutively down to one for 11th place. The age groups for the recognition of titles will be a ten year age group from 15-24; 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65+ and equally recognising male and female

First in each age group will be recognised as NSW State Champions by way of a certificate.
