A WORD FROM OUT NAMING SPONSOR:
The 2010 Compressport
Club Championships
Only a matter
of hours before the big race to see who takes the honours for the NSW CLUB
CHAMPS of 2010.
It’s been an
amazing season with races selling out and record numbers of new people
participating; our sport is healthy and growing.
Compressport
is proud support Triathlon NSW and as naming sponsor of the Compresssport NSW
Club Champs we’ll be running two competitions on Saturday to inject some more
fun to this great day out.
To win all
you have to do is:
1- Wear your
Compressport, and the competitor demonstrating the best finish line
celebration will have their race fee reimbursed. (Keep an eye out for the
camera at the finish line!)
2- Our staff
will be also be offering to put an "I love Compressport" sticker on
your helmet; and three (3) lucky competitors will win a pair of the new
Compressport UR2 Ultra race and recovery garments.

DINNER AT THE BOWLING CLUB
If you’ve
ordered tickets for dinner at the Soldiers Point Bowling Club please remember
to ask for them at Race Registration – note the pickup may be at a different
table...
A VERY
limited number of tickets may be available after registration.
SATURDAY NIGHT AT SAMURAI
We have a
double room at Samurai Resort, just down Gan Gan Road from the race venue
that’s available for Saturday night only. If you need another room – contact
our Race Director Nick at nick@trinswrace.org
for cost and details.
PARKING AND COMMUNITY
RESPECT
Our race team
has spent rather too much time in this week dealing with some disgruntled
local residents who have brought to light some unsavoury pre and post race
practices in the local area.
Please park
OFF the course – that means outside of the immediate
area on Gan Gan Road between the Koala Place Roundabout and Eucalyptus Road
off Gan Gan Road. As a result of what we’ve learned in recent days, if
parking in the local community environment please DO NOT:
VOLUNTEERS
We are
forming four very special kits for four lucky volunteers this year; if you
work with a firm or business who could contribute to these kits please bring
four items and drop off with Nick or Ali Munting at Registration on Saturday
or on Friday afternoon at the venue. The four prizes packs will be drawn
early on the presentation evening and are an ongoing initiative of TNSW in
growing the importance of volunteering in our sport (it’s what you can do
when not competing, and as equally important to the sport. We have some great
long time volunteers and this is one weekend to show them how much YOU
appreciate their invaluable efforts throughout the year.
SATURDAY
We hope for
you maximum points for your club; fair weather, a lot of fun followed by a
big night out.
We’ll look to
make this the safest fairest race possible and bring to you a day of
camaraderie and friendship amongst you and your fellow participants. This is
the end of the season; enjoy the day; enjoy the post race celebration.
Cheers
The TNSW
Event Team
